Weekly Events

This better raise a lot of money at the YW camp auction . . .parting with my homemade strawberry jam is always hard

The last 8 hours have shown me a glimpse of hell.
Out of no where a virus hit my body like a semi truck. If the bouts of nausea weren't enough, any slight movement of any limb felt like someone was taking a thousand acupuncture needles and jamming them into my body. Mike was up the entire night coughing. Amari came into our room crying at 1am from the thunder/lightening storm and decided to wake up at random hours all night—eventually crawling into bed with me (at this point Mike had moved into Amaris room), giving me about an inch of space, while continuously prodding and poking my rib with his index fingering and saying "mom, I want juice...mom I want water..."
And then to top it all off Beckahm came into our room crying at 2am and then AGAIN at 4am with massive amounts of blood pouring out of his nose—his hands unrecognizable, his face, his tummy completely covered....blood all over his bedding, two different sets of jammies, my carpet, the bathroom. Obviously Beckahm was crying, echoing my exact sentiments "this is the worst night ever!" Amari came running into the bathroom frantic and crying not knowing how to quite process the state of his blood ridden brother lying in front of him (great visual for a 4 year old at 4 in the morning).
I finally gave up trying to sleep at about 330 and spent the night scrolling Facebook, IG, and reading a Forbes article on the 20 most powerful people in the world.
On a different note, people are dying all over the world, sex trafficking is—God knows how—still rampant in 2017, poverty is abundant, and Forbes listed Putin as the most powerful man in the world. #therearemuchbiggerproblemsthannosebleeds #perspectiveisEVERYTHING

A FEW good things came out of this horrible sickness: uno games and reading with my little man in bed, prayers offered to God by my little man that his mamas sickness would go away; pictures drawn, words of affirmation and love—"I love you more than Pokemon mom"; breakfast in bed; and my boxing abs are on point (I think I lost 4 lbs in 8 hours) πŸ˜#positivevibes #youtakethemwhereyoucan #prayingthisleavesbymorning

If you are in the area and are in need of a tune up, this is the place to go. Not only is Doctor Scott extremely knowledgeable in his field but he truly takes the time to listen to his patients and he cares about them. He spent so much time with me today adjusting me, giving me a pep talk about my constant need to overtrain and helped give me practical ways to adjust my workouts so I can live a more pain free life. He also has the best taste in decor--just sayin πŸ˜. Thanks @magiccitychiropractic for getting me back on track so I can live doing what I love!

"Lazarine" has risen πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»! It has seriously been the craziest last few days. I wish that sickness on no one! Here's to good health and hoping it stays the rest of the year

"She is free in her wildness, she is a wanderess, a drop of free water. She knows nothing of borders and cares nothing for rules or customs. 'Time' for her isn’t something to fight against. Her life flows clean, with passion, like fresh water. She belonged to no man and to no city"

Dinner was so yummy: Mediterranean zucchini noodle salad
