Sisters Trip to FL

This is the first time in our lives that we have done a sisters trip.  My sisters flew out to AL and stayed with us for a few days (it was so nice to have them see where I lived, to spend quality time with the boys, to see our new house and all of the projects we've been doing, to spend the nights playing cards, laugh, talk; to see Michelle doing what she loves—she hosted a green smoothie girl class at our house—and to have them come to our ward), and then we headed to FL to go to Disney World and Universal Studios.

The road trip (9 hrs) was such a blast—spent playing fun/light hearted games and some more games that created deeper, more personal conversations.  It was so nice to be together again, no kids, and to get to know each other as adults.  And even though there was some drama on the trip it was worth every moment to bond like we did, to help give each other words of encouragement, to laugh like crazy together, to be real with one another. . . it was an unforgettable few days—ones that I will never forget.  (Oh and Disney World and Universal were AMAZING.  I was wishing the boys were with me the entire time, even though it was enjoyable to see it all with adults; they would have LOVED it.  I can't wait to take them back!!)

* the pictures are all mixed in—ones we all took (they are not in order)

It was so nice to finally be able to entertain family at my home

Picking everyone up at different times: first time 1:30am. . . it was all worth it!

At night seeing the Transformers: soooo cool; Optimus called me "his true friend""

The craziest roller coaster, you got to choose a song to listen to while riding: I listened to Beastie Boys; it was awesome!!

This one was 100% for Becks; when I called to tell him I was going to Dr. Seuss world he said "mom, if you see the Grinch DO NOT take a picture with him."  I died laughing; so when I saw him I kicked him in the be-hind for Becks :)

Backs with his Aunties (they spoiled him at Disney World)
