 It was so cute watching Beckahm sing for Daddy.  AND we about died watching Amari, totally on his own, go up there with all the kids at full force.  He stood right up in front, looking out at every one and glancing up at Hunter and just cheesing it! ADORABLE!!

I was so lucky to finally talk to my friend Dina, from Ethiopia, who was traveling state side.  We spent so many days laughing and making fun of our experience while living in Sweden.  I remember when Nahom was just a child.  I love them both so much!

Amari Escapes

So I was napping one day and I kept hearing someone pound on my door.  I thought it was Beckahm (which he totally knows better) and I told him to stop.  5 seconds later someone is tugging at my sheets and I look up still in a daze and there was Amari at my bedside.  I couldn't understand what I was seeing because he was still sleeping in his crib.  I thought either Mike was home or Beckahm got him out.  None of the above. . . the dreaded day came earlier than I anticipated: he got out all by himself!!

The next day Mike sawed his bed in half :).  It took him a week to get adjusted to it—trying to understand that just because he can get out of his crib now doesn't mean quiet time is null and void and that he can walk around the house in the wee hours of the morning.

Another Beckahm moment today...I woke him from his nap to find him self-tattooed literally from his pinky toe all the way up to his armpits. Me: Beckahm what did you do I?? You shouldn't write on your body. Becks: Well dad has one. Made this frozen whipped pineapple ice cream tonight: similar to the one you can buy at Disneyland but 10x healthier. 2 ingredients: Frozen pineapple and almond milk .
