My Babe is gone for five days to work in CA. I seriously dread every time Mike has to leave, especially for such a long period of time. This time he will be gone nearly 30 days (five days away, two days home). It is harder having him gone now that we have Beckahm; I rely on him so much in the mornings and evenings to help me out. I am so grateful he is such a great dad to Beckahm and such a helpful husband to me in raising our son. I am so grateful for a dedicated husband who works so hard to support our family. I am grateful that after two and a half years of being married I still miss him like crazy when he leaves. I think a key success to our marriage is that we are the best of friends; I love doing every thing with him—laughing, hanging out, going out to dinner, sleeping, having dinner at home, having scripture study/prayer, going to church— I never get bored of his company. I am so grateful for our baby boy and how much he has helped us grow together as a couple and where we are at right now in our lives. Even though I miss my hubby and feel empty without him, my life is completely full. How beautiful life is; I have so much to be grateful for!

I just wanted to thank everyone again for making my birthday so special for me. Everyone with their texts, calls, and gifts was so thoughtful. I just received the last of my gifts from my family and now wanted to post the sweet things people sent me. I love everything! Thank you all sooooo much!!

My mother spoiled me by making me the cutest darn bag I now have hanging in my closet. She is so very talented! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my bag! And I had been looking for a year for a rose ring and I was so shocked when I opened my bag and saw this silver rose ring inside along with this cute scarf.

Father's Day

Mike's first Fathers Day:

Made Mike a roast dinner Saturday night
Made him breakfast Sunday morning
Made him a calender/flip book with pictures of him and Beckahm
Had a yummy BBQ dinner hosted by Dave and Kimber—thanks you guys, it was so delish (Dave is such a fabulous cook), and it was fun as always to hang out with you! Dessert: chocolate cake and cherry cheesecake
Beckahm was able to wear his first suit to church; he was pimpin!
