St. Paddy's Day

Beautiful spring morning spent with my kiddos at Aldridge gardens.  Seeing as much green as we could on this St. Patricks Day.  

Picking beautiful flowers for mama.  I love it when he tells me thanks for taking him places and then says, " you're the best mama ever!"

I nearly died laughing seeing Amari get so scared of this wood statue in the gardens.  He refused to make eye contact with it.  When I picked him up to try and make him touch it he started crying.

 Ending the day off right with this Eastman tradition: corn beef and cabbage with carrots and potatoes and popovers—yum!

Brothers riding bikes.  They have definitely become a little closer the past two weeks (my prayers have been working).  Beckahm seems to want to include Amari in things and he has been more thoughtful and kind to him.  Amari, just today wanted to follow Beck's around every where when we were outside and he was mimicking every thing he'd do or say (totally melted my heart: my greatest desire as their mother).  

 Ending this beautiful spring day right: with ice cream!

It was such a cute moment as they were eating their ice cream Beck's saw his friend outside and he started yelling his name; Amari quickly followed suit, yelling "Hunter, Hunter."  :)
