ICE CREAM

"I scream you scream we all scream for ice cream!"

I can't believe I am making a blog posting about ice cream but I really love trying out new ice cream brands/flavors and I found one of my new favs: "Lovin Scoopful" (you can get it at walmart). It is low fat and you wouldn't even know it, it is so creamy and the flavors are so yummy! So far we've tried the following:

Out of this World Chocolate
Carmel Chocolate Heaven (tastes kind of like Mocha with carmel chocolate chunks in it)
So Good Cookies and Cream
Yummy Cake and Cookie Dough
Oh My Blueberry Pie (yummy chunks of pie and swirls of blueberry)

Are you salivating yet?
Yummy! Go out and get some! :)

House for Rent

It is official: we have put our house up for rent!!! I can't believe it!! We are hoping we get someone to rent our home by the time we leave, mid May, so we can take all of our stuff with us when we go to Washington for the summer. We will be working in Kent, WA which is located 20 minutes south of Seattle. We hope to explore different cities in WA while we are in Kent and at the end of the summer relocate to the area we love the most. Right now we are leaning towards Seattle and Bellingham (which is so interesting because Bellingham is a place I have always wanted to live and actually attend college).

We are looking forward to this new chapter in our lives and are quite excited to explore Washington and partake of all of the wonderful things it has to offer!

Here are a few pictures of Kent, I am excited that there is a fun shopping center, similar to The Gateway, right in the city:

Pictures of Seattle and my favorite—Bellingham (I will be jealous if Mike gets to go there for school): :

Alice and Wonderland

Okay so seriously! Could this movie BE any COOLER! I have to say it is definitely going on my list of ALL TIME favorite movies. Reasons why: 1) the imagination and detail that went into every scene was exquisite. I could watch it 10 more times just to see all of the little details, 2) the acting was amazing, 3) Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter—do I need to give a further explanation. I loved, by the way, his relationship with Alice, it was so much more wonderfully developed and heart warming than the animated version, 4) I loved how they kept the best parts of the animated version in the film and yet expanded the story line (i.e. Queen's cards, her garden, playing croquet with the flamingo, the Cheshire cat, and the caterpillar's "who— are—you???"); 5) Both queens castles were incredible, and I loved, loved, loved the last battle depicted on a checker board—so amazing, and 6) I LOVE the costumes, especially worn by Alice. My favorite:

Mike and I really wanted to be the Mad Hatter and Alice last year for Halloween, but we couldn't find a costume for him. I am glad we waiting, it will be so much more fun to do this year! YEAH! Ewe and wouldn't it be fun to have a Alice and Wonderland Halloween bash???!

I give it five stars and tell you, it is a must see!!

Brian Regan

So I bought Brian Regan tickets last summer as a little surprise for Mike because he surprised me for my birthday with concert tickets to Jacks Mannequin/The Fray. The event FINALLY rolled around, and we were both so excited to see him live. Abravenal Hall was packed with laughter, making the event so much more fun. I forgot who the opening act was but he was seriously funny. The crowd went crazy when Brian Regan took the stage. His entire act was new, which was so awesome because Mike and I have heard his previous jokes A-LOT (not that you could ever get sick of them). We were seriously crying from laughing so hard for, non-stop for two hours! It was honestly the best medicine! We LOVE laughing and LOVE comedic things so much (bet none of you knew that :).

Hopefully we can buy the live performance and have a little family night when everyone comes for the graduation/sealing. SO FUNNY!

Sorry about the lame pictures, I forgot my camera and the only other thing we had was Mikes phone (Lame-O).

Anyways, if you can see him live it is definitely worth every penny!
