Grandma Eastman's Visit to KY

We were so grateful my mom could come help make August's nursery items and watch Beckham while Mike and I went to Mexico for 5 days.  It was so nice to be in her company and to see how much she and Beckahm bonded.

He did so good with Grandma while we were gone.  He only seemed to miss us when he would wake up from his naps, calling out "mama" and pointing to the door.  Beckahm had so much fun playing and giggling with Grandma, and was sad to see her go when we took her to the airport.

We squeezed in some historical sites while she was here, giving her the chance to see this incredible area of KY that we live in.

Blue Grass Tour

 Wallace Station for dinner

Keenland Racetrack! Coolest thing we did! Beck's LOVED seeing the horses race

Dinner at the yummiest pizza place

 Henry Clay Estate

Dinner at Desha's—the Gumbo was delish!

Lexington Cemetery: one of the largest, coolest cemetery's I have seen. So neat to see the dedicated plot for the Civil War soldiers.
