The Compassion Experience

I was so excited to attend this incredible project: The Compassion Experience.

By far one of the most incredible experiences we've been able to share with our kids. Our goal of traveling the world with our children to help those in need, is something in the making. However, because of this brilliant organization—The Compassion Experience—we were able to bring such places as Guatemala and Uganda into our kids "backyard", giving them a feel for what it is like growing up in poverty, war, broken homes, famine....these stories were heart breaking, awe inspiring and liberating all at the same time; motivating us to become Sponsers for one such child—Niyonsenga Eric, a ten year old boy from Rwanda.
Because of our sponsorship Niyonsenga will receive an education, clothing, food, medical care, and so much more. Every month we get to write to him and receive letters from him. One day we hope to meet him. As Mike said when he saw his picture: "look at him, he looks like he's going to be a leader!" ‪#‎Thecompassionexperience‬  ‪#‎lovehopeandprayersforniyonsengaandrwanda‬

He is on our fridge where we can see him every day.  He feels like another son to me.  We pray for him daily and hope to one day meet him!
