HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY BECKAHM!!

Video footage of B's day

Packages from Grandma and Grandpa Moncur and Eastman

His birthday decor. This theme was all things about Beckahm. Things he loves: his giraffe and monkey, fans, colors, books, his cat Nika, stars, his baseball hat (hence the party hats which he didn't necessarily like :), his daddy's art work which is represented in his "1" giraffe onsie, and the HAPPY BIRTHDAY tiles I made.

Bells and whistles to wake him in the morning

 Birthday shirt his daddy designed

He had to walk under the balloons to get out of his bedroom. He LOVED it

I LOVE these pics with his two favorite stuffies

Breakfast served on his special birthday plate Daddy and I made him: blueberry pancakes, eggs, and bacon

I couldn't decide which of these to post so I just posted them all.  I LOVE THEM!

 I love this one!

And this one! I love his little face!

And then he was done with the hat!
He LOVES his baseball hat.  He will go get it and bring it to me so he can wear it.  It reminds him of his Daddy wearing a hat to work.

Opening Grandma and Grandpa Moncur's gift: a cute snap button romper.  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!

Opening Papa and Grandma Eastman's gift: a cool truck that he can't seem to put down and some books to add to his library!  Thanks Papa and Grandma!!

And he loved the packing peanuts!!

His first time swimming in the ocean.  He LOVED it.  He wanted to run into the waves all afternoon.  Our little swimmer! We need to get him boogie board lessons!

 It was like bath water!

Beach crack!

Enjoying some frozen yogurt, one of his favorites!

B-day gifts from Mommy and Daddy: Legos, books, and a puzzle

Dinner at a Caribbean restaurant in Del Ray called Cabanas—YUM!

He couldn't stop playing with his truck

 "Happy Birthday To You . . . "

First thing he wanted to do was feed his Mommy!

 "Got Milk?"

 What a FUN mess!

 Opening his gifts!

From Mommy in my birthday card:

"Happy 1st Birthday Lil' Man! You have grown so quickly this past year—I can't believe you are already a year old.  Your personality has always been so much older than your age.  You are quick witted and have one of the best senses of humor I know.  You are so social and kind to everyone you encounter—you love to smile and wave at everyone you see.  You are a keen observer—you take in and contemplate all of your surroundings.  You LOVE to talk and you seem to always know exactly what you want.  You are bright and intelligent—such a quick learner.  You love your animal stuffies—your monkey and giraffe, that is why we got you this card.  I am so grateful for you Beckahm.  I am grateful I have you on "loan" from our Heavenly Father for a bit of time here on earth.  I feel blessed to be your mother, teacher, mentor, and friend.  Happy Birthday my little man!!"

From Daddy in my birthday card:

"Happy Birthday Bud! You're the big #1! Wow, how time flies.  It seems like just yesterday you were born.  You have changed my life for the better.  I never knew I could love somebody as  much as I love you! You are so cool and so funny.  You have an amazing sense of humor and you are so aware of your surroundings.  You are smart, loving, energetic and into everything.  I love you little guy! And I look forward to man more birthdays to come.  I'm so proud to be your dad.  Love, Dad"
