Looks like Mike is going to have to go to Indianapolis to sell for the next two months. We tried sticking it out here but it just didn't work out as we had hoped so we've got to resort to "plan b." It will be hard being away from each other and having Beckahm be away from his daddy for so long but hopefully the payoff will make it worth it.
Beckahm has become particularly attached to Mike the past few days as he has taken time off to spend with us before he leaves on the 9th. It is precious to see how excited he gets to have so much time with his dad. He loves watching Mike whether he is engaged in an activity, such as painting, or doing absolutely nothing at all; he is intrigued by his daddy.
I am going to Utah to spend time with family while Mike is away and I also might go to Grants Pass to visit my parents. Although I am a little apprehensive about the flight—Beckahm's first—I am excited for my family to finally meet our little boy. It will be nice to be surrounded by friends and family while Mike is gone.

Mike's new painting; he is so talented! Beckahm can't wait to paint with his daddy; he was so intrigued watching him. I am so grateful for all of the talents Mike can pass onto our little boy!
Going to the Science Museum. He loved looking at everything. We can't wait till he is older to go and experience it more hands on—such a cool museum!
