Brothers, Worms, Trains, Lorikeets and More

Love this new purse

Amari aka James Dean (look a like)

I so need this shirt

Love his cute tired face!

Daddy went away for a few days and was sweet enough to leave the boys these letters; they loved them!

Catching worms on this rainy day :)

gym rat!

They love Barnes and Noble

After a long few days being a "single mom" this is all I wanted to do: eat ice cream and watch a show

Feeding the Lorikeets at the Zoo

Beckahm did so good at memorizing his assigned scripture and prayer for Primary.  He got a little nervous when it came down to giving it in front of the primary so I helped him through it.  I am so proud of this little man; it takes so much courage to stand before your peers! He is such a smart, confident little boy!

His favorite thing to do lately: climb

I love how he shakes his finger and says "no no"

Yummy GF sugar cookies

I have said countless prayers since the day Amari was born that Beckahm and Amari would be close and love each other; it has been such an arduous process and at times I felt so discouraged thinking "they will never get along," but just in the last two weeks they have started to play together, to love each other more and to enjoy each others company.  I love seeing Amari finally dare to climb the top of the Chick fil a playset as brother coached him through it (lately he has wanted to follow Becks around every where he goes, mimicking what he says and does yet still remaining his own free willed spirit).  He has even loved going over to Beckahm's friends house as I have had to pack up our house to get ready to move.  There is no one that can make him laugh like brother.  One thing I love is seeing them hold hands as they walk into the gym.  I also love how excited he gets to give Beck's kisses and big hugs before bed each night.  I love watching Beckahm try to pick him up when he falls, to help him if he is in a bind, and to try and include him in his imaginative play.  There is truly nothing that makes me happier than finally seeing these two connect and have the relationship that I have been praying and hoping for these past two years!

Something about this picture cracks me up.  It needs to be Chick Fil A's new billboard :)

Tin foil dinners this week

How I found him at the gym today: mater in his hand, happily watching Cars (he is so obsessed with cars)

Beckahm and I have been doing a little pre-school during quiet time each day and look what he learned how to do: write the numbers 1 and 0!!! He is so smart and gets things so quickly!

I rarely wake up craving waffles but today I did and I gave into that craving.  Betty Crocker makes a good GF waffle!

A gorgeous morning hike (last Saturday before Daddy starts the summer season)

Love his cute big lips

Spring is here!!

I love this new ensemble!

Playdates are always so fun for Mr. B

Love this little man; every day he is grasping more words and learning so much
