Zoo Day + Aldridge Gardens + Science Museum

The Zoo had a new Pirate exhibit so we went to check it out.  Amari loved the train ride!

I love being in nature . . . 

Dinner at chick fil a came with a fun surprise: they got to plant their own flowers (decorate their own pots), make flower pens, and make their own dirt (crushed Oreos) and worms (gummy worms) ice cream Sundae.

Zoo, Sick Days, Snow Day, and More

Early 3am wakeup call to take Daddy to the airport (he had to go to FL for a court hearing with the company).  The gate wasn't working when we got home and so I had to run in the frost and freezing cold while pushing Beck's in the stroller. . . it was a long day to say the least 

Sick as dogs over here; nap time for every one

This little munchkin was so happy he learned how to mimic me in shrugging his shoulders and making this face :)

Beckahm can be the most thoughtful little boy.  During my nap he snuck in my room and pasted this picture he made me on my wall and laid this box of popcorn next to my bed.  I woke up and he was standing there smiling over me saying, "I'm the Popcorn man!"

Beckahm loved having Daddy help him make his very first popcorn/lemonade stand.  Amari and I loved being his first customers :)

Our first snow day this season: Beck's loved playing in it for about 10 minutes :)

After being sick and being stuck in the house for almost two weeks I had to get the kids outside despite the fact that I had a massive sinus infection and that it was 37 degrees out.  We went to the zoo—the kids loved it and we were able to see the animals up close so it was a win win!

Mike gave me the weekend off: spa day and night at a hotel—a much needed break or mommy :)
