My husband is one of the hardest working men I know in one of the hardest industries/jobs on planet earth: door to door sales. He amazes me—being in this industry in nearly every state (from east coast to west) for almost 8 years, 3 of which have been year round (you do the math and figure out how many doors he's knocked). The things he sees, the experiences he has, and the people he meets astounds me. I am so grateful for his drive and dedication to put a roof over our heads: to walk many a mile day in and day out with gnats swarming his face and sweat running down his butt crack—being chased after by dogs, people with guns, threatened by those in the hood, doors slammed in his face, people yelling profanities, going without a break (starved and thirsty at the end of the day), peeing in the bushes, being driven out by cops, fixing flat tires, driving some times 4 hours a day to an area, staying in crappy motels weeks in a row, eating crappy food weeks in a row...all to get 1 deal, 4 deals...to make a future for our family. Russel Crow has nothing on this man...He is THE gladiator fo-realllzzz #grateful #mama #gladiator #husband#aka #magicmike #doortodoorsales #alder #home #security #hardworkpaysoff#lovehim #gomikego #bhm #poundingthepavement #dayindayout #summer#grind #lifeofasalesman @yesmikego

Mike Turns 30!!
Mike finally joined the 30s!! We celebrated by taking him on a shopping spree at Forever 21. I love shopping for Mike; he looks good in everything. It was nice to be able to relax, goof around, take our time, and reconnect as a couple. I am so grateful I have this handsome fella in my life and for all of the experience that have molded us and have helped us grown in our love for one another over the past 5 years.
Facebook Post to my man:
Happy Birthday to this sexy man in my life Mike Moncur. Welcome to the 30s dearest Mikey! I am so glad you and I are officially living in the same decade.
Thank you for bringing out the fun, the serious, the white trash, the laughter, and the best in me. I am so blessed to know you as my lover, friend, and companion. May the 30s be the best, most successful decade of your life. Love you to the moon and back.Xoxo, your dumpster diving mama.

Happy 30 @yesmikego! I am blessed to have married a man that not only has the capability of bringing sexy back, but who has the capability of bringing SNL into my home on a weekly basis. Thanks for all the great love, laughter, and memories we've shared. So excited to share the 30s with you: best decade ever #happybirthday#daddy #husband #lover

Welcome home DADDY!!!
Beckahm and I were more than thrilled to have Mike back after being away for 2 months working so hard to support our family. Needless to say it hasn't been the easiest time being of the status: "single mother" for 2 months, but some how the Lord graciously helped me through it. My hat goes off to those mothers who have to do one of the toughest jobs in the world—motherhood—on their own. I seriously pray for them every night that they will the strength, stamina, and patience to endure the times when they think they can not go any further.
It was precious to see Beckahm become reacquainted with his daddy again. He didn't know what to do with himself; he kept looking at Mike and then back at me like "is this stranger really okay?" It didn't take him long—nothing a little facial hair tickling his face couldn't remedy—for him to warm right up to his daddy.
We LOVE you babe! We are so grateful for your hard work this summer and dedication in providing for our family. Without you our dreams wouldn't become reality. We are so grateful to have you back home with us; your presence was sorely missed!!
Mikes presence almost seems surreal, I have to keep reminding myself "yea, I have a husband again!!!"
We got this from a friend in the ward and it was sized 0-3 so I thought I would put him in it at least once :) HAHA my lil' Rudolph
