Old Baker Farm

Beckahm had his Spring Field Trip to Old Baker Farm and Amari and I decided to go.  It was so fun to see this 200 year old farm (passed down within the Baker family).  The kids got to play, see the animals, plant their own sunflower seeds, eat lunch there . . . Beck's classmates were so incredibly kind to Amari and he had such a good time with his brother.

After the farm we played in the sprinklers and got donuts for dessert

Weekly Events

Just planting their play dough garden; they loved it

I love new workout clothes

Don't be fooled; there is nothing better than good old fashioned pushups!

Mikes company had a competition where the top 20 competed with the rest of the company (140); Mike was in the top 20 and they ended up winning the competition—Mike landed in the top 5; so proud of him!! (Me showing my support for team Absolute)!

I have NEVER seen bigger bugs than in Alabama: gross!

This Target shopping cart proves that I can only give birth to 3 children; where do you put the 4th!!??

This is what happens when he doesn't take a nap: he passes out watching his nightly show

Loving my new glasses that I got for free on Coastal.com!

What a lovely morning we had as a family picking blueberries at this quaint, local farm.  Unfortunately Beckahm stepped in a huge ant pile and got eaten alive by ants :(.  But we got a gallon of blueberries for $12, a dozen eggs, and some fresh tomatoes.

Beck's swollen ankle a day later :(

Amari was in blueberry heaven! I think he ate more blueberries than we actually picked!

This seriously made me want to live on a farm for a few months

All tuckered out after blueberry picking/eating

Lunch at this yummy dive: The Boot

Some inspirations we happened upon today for our future home

I love the color of this barn; it would make a beautiful color for our kitchen!

Mike loved this lettering on the white brick; it would be awesome to do the same thing outside a wall of our home one day

love the black, gray brick with black shutters

Love the lanterns and the brick

my little chatter box

This conversation we had about Jesus, death, and birth was priceless!

Just hanging out in his new tent :)
