Who's going to win the race???
We decided to go horse back riding and camping today :) aka Field and Stream. Becks was so excited to take me there because I had never been there before and he had been there with his dad. Cutest cowboys I have ever seen!!
Fun at Gardendale Splash pad. Becks was so cute to be a man and push these ladies on the swing. Amari was so brave climbing up these big walls on this play ground. This was the first time they got to buy ice cream from an ice cream truck and they were both so excited!
Becks is such an incredible builder, he LOVES legos. He was upset that I was at child watch to pick him up as he was just about to create something fantastic. Nearly every time I pick him up he has some new creation to show me. I love it!
Summer storm in the south.
Becks wanted to play in the rain and it was bedtime. My mommy voice was saying no, it's been a long day, but my "live and enjoy every minute voice" was screaming YES! These are the moments he will always remember. He had the biggest smile on his face and was filled with joy and laughter. When he got dressed in his pjs he went back outside to say goodnight to the rain and this beautiful world :).
This whole scenario reminded me of a comment he made one day when I was in a rush to get someone and I asked if he was ready to go because he had "seen what he needed to see." He said "mom, I didn't come to this world to just see things, I came to this world to experience things!" My prolific little boy! #letthembelittle
