This is the last Saturday Mike has to work! Yippee!! We are excited for him to have some more time off to a) be with the kids, b) have time for himself, and c) give Mommy a break :). He has been so successful with AP the past year, far surpassing his goals and the numbers he has hit in previous selling years. I am so proud of him and grateful for his hard work and dedication (working 6 days a week, traveling nearly every week, and working long hours) all to support our family and give us a better future.
We are looking forward to him having this upcoming week off. I have MANY plans in store (packing it all in :), including a weekday surprise getaway, just the two of us with a wonderful surprise in store.
We are also looking forward to spending some time off with friends. The company is paying for a few dinners together, a day at a water park, and a day on the lake with a boat and jet skis :).
End of October we will be going on the top 10 rep sales trip to The Dominican Republic. We are excited for Mike's mom to finally be able to spend some time with her grandchildren while we get a nice, relaxing, much needed vacation together!
Mike will also be getting the full week of Thanksgiving off, and three weeks during Christmas/New Years off. We are SOOO looking forward to all of these long, anticipated, well deserved breaks!!
The kids are growing like weeds! Every day Beckahm's vocabulary increases and he puts multiple sentences together. Beckahm is starting to notice his brother more and more and see him as a play mate than an annoyance. Beckahm's love for learning and reading books continues. He also LOVES playing with his buddies on a daily/weekly basis. As to be expected, we are always out and about doing fun things and keeping ourselves busy exploring this fascinating world we live in. Life IS an adventure with two kids!
Amari turned 6 months this past week. He is starting to get better at crawling (albeit backwards and turning in circles :). He is going to be our wrestler or athlete; he is nothing but muscle, strong as an ox! Amari LOVES laughing with his brother and just being his smiley, calm, sweet self! Funniest thing, today I took them to the pet store and he saw the mice running around on their wheel and he started busting up laughing. This kid has such a great sense of humor. He makes every one around him smile because he is always trying to get peoples attention by smiling at them. His smile lights up his face and the entire world around him! I love this little munchkin!
Amari teething
This kid LOVES "The Wheels on the Bus!"
Taija making Amari laugh
Dinner and movie with friends
Seasons 52
Amari boogie boarding! He LOVED it!!
His face says it all!!
Haha guess who found some goggles and was thrilled about them!
Playing with his BFF aka Bentlee
We took Rhett to ijump with us one afternoon. I love these two!
Swinging at a splash pad about 40 minutes away. These two love swinging with each other!
Finally got a picture of all three of us!
I saw this at the gym: lady doing Zumba in her curlers; cracked me up!
Becks at kids club. I was laughing so hard when I saw him just sitting there
Mike made me Thai food one night :)
Every time we are at the gym Beck's says he wants to sit on the bike and "workout." Like Mommy like son :)
By far the funniest thing to date: Amari using his seat to relieve some gum pain. Haha, whatever works!
A carrot also relieves the gum pain :)
Mr. cool
Cute castle park that Beckahm loves playing at
He loved this tire swing
How Mr. Beckahm got this used bike: ask and ye shall receive moment (explanation in video footage).
He was beyond thrilled to get a "blue bike." Every day he said "Rhetts Dad gave blue bike :)
I had 3 of the neighborhood kids knock on my door at three different times one Saturday; boy was my house a wreck two hours later! :)
One day we were driving home and Becks was super dirty and I vocalized it to him. He doesn't like being sticky or dirty himself and the next thing I knew he figured out a solution: he starts dumping his water bottle on his feet to clean them off. HAHA, smart kid I have!
Beck's first joke: he put his cars in a cup of water = "car pool" :)
Amari turns 6 months!!
Gotta love suckers!
You play blocks? You are automatically called friend. I sneaked a peak through the kids club widow and found Beckahm happily playing blocks with this little girl :)
Beck's at Ijump once again, with the Andersons. This boy LOVES the bounce house! Him and Rhett spent the majority of their time in the arcade room trying to confiscate tickets :).
Beck's and Indie Rose. He loves her! Wish he felt the same amount of affection for his own brother :)
Gotta love suckers!
My precious 6 month old!
Think we need to get rid of the night light???
