Happy Fourth!!

First Fourth of July Mike and I got to spend together!!! Mike got off early from work, and we spent the day rollerblading by this little boardwalk close to our apartment; it was a really cool place. We had lunch at one of our favorite sandwich places—Firehouse Subs, then we went and saw the movie Wolverine (Mike had never seen it), and then we tried to get into the Knights baseball game but it was sold out so we ended up grabbing Taco Bell and going to watch the fireworks at another stadium in the city. It was a really good show, synchronized to music. It was so much fun just being with Mike all day and spending our first Fourth of July holiday together—a holiday we honor, respect, and love so much. I am so grateful to be an American citizen—there truly isn’t a better place to live! ☺. We are both so grateful for our military of the past and present that sacrifice their lives that we may enjoy ours. God bless America!
